For the 2019 MTYC camp season a number of enhancement and maintenance projects were completed making the facilities at camp even more enjoyable and pleasing to the eye. We give thanks to the Lord provision and all those involved in working to make MTYC a beautiful place we can enjoy together.
Fire Pit Deck
The MTYC fire pit deck received a makeover! A new deck top was installed with new railing and 14 new benches were made for seating. The benches are movable so speakers and groups can arrange them in whatever way works best for their needs.
New Roof and Paint on Cabins
A fresh coat of paint and new roofs were put on Cabins 1-2 and 3-4. Trees were cut back to help thin out the debris that could potentially fall on the roof. The new look is awesome!
New LED Lights in the Game Room
The old fluorescent lights in the game room were replaced with new, brighter LED lights. Definitely important to see what is coming at you in the game room!
How can you help?
- Pray for the camp as decision are made on future improvements, for the staff, for the campers, and mainly for the gospel that is shared with others.
- Donate – Prayerfully consider supporting the camp financially in its maintenance and/or sponsoring campers.
- Volunteer your time at camp. Contact MTYC if you are interested in helping with work days or in some other capacity at camp.
