With Heartfelt Appreciation for Barry and Jackie Brady
After more than 40 years of faithful service to Mountain Top Youth Camp, our dear brother in Christ, Barry Brady, has announced that he will be stepping down from the MTYC Board of Directors and from his role as Executive Director, a position he has held for the past 12 years.
Barry’s service to MTYC, however, has never been defined by a title. Throughout more than four decades, he has willingly served wherever needed—from leadership on the Board and Executive Committee, managing projects and personnel, speaking and corresponding with supporters, to working in the kitchen, mowing grass, maintaining the pool, and hooking up generators. Going further back, Barry also served as a Cabin Leader and directed athletics for Sr. Teen Week.
We also want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Barry’s wife, Jackie, who has faithfully served alongside him throughout these many years. Jackie has given generously of her own time, energy, encouragement, and abilities in support of the camp and its ministry. We are deeply thankful for her service to the Lord and His people at MTYC.
Together, Barry and Jackie have been an integral part of the “harvest field” at MTYC. We praise God for His faithfulness in using this ministry to reach children, young people, and families with the Gospel, and for the many souls that have been saved. We are grateful for the part Barry and Jackie have had in that work.
Barry shared in his resignation letter that this decision came after fervent prayer and searching the Scriptures. He and Jackie look forward to greater involvement in their local assembly and additional time with their family, while continuing to pray for MTYC, its leadership, and its ministry.
Barry and Jackie, thank you. Thank you for the sacrifices made, the countless hours given, the needs quietly met, and the love you have shown to so many. Above all, thank you for your faithful service to the Lord through Mountain Top Youth Camp.
As they begin this next chapter, we encourage you to remember Barry and Jackie in prayer, asking the Lord to continue to guide, bless, and use them for His purposes in the days ahead.
