The summer camp countdown is on! Only a few short days until our summer staff arrive for a week of orientation. Immediately following orientation, Jr. Teen Week begins followed by 7 more weeks of summer programming. We beseech you to pray for Mountain Top this summer. “Beseech” is not a typical word used in our everyday vocabulary, but is a word that seems to fit as we ask you to pray for Mountain Top this summer. It means to ask urgently and fervently to do something. We know from 1st John 5:14-15 that we can have confidence that our prayers will be heard and granted if we ask according to His will. Pray that the Holy Spirit would have complete control in the lives and events on the mountain in the upcoming weeks. We know that without the working of the Holy Spirit lives would not be transformed and renewed. The very reason the ministry exists here is to be used to the glory of God in the salvation of precious souls and building up of the saints in the most holy faith. Sounds like something that needs much prayer!
Please pray specifically:
- Lives of all who are here this summer to be transformed and renewed
- The Gospel to go forth unhindered
- Programs to be filled with ones who need to hear the gospel or need building up
- Physical and spiritual needs of directors and speakers who are preparing for their particular programs
- Physical and spiritual needs of summer and resident staff as they prepare and maintain the operations of the camp
- Vacant volunteer spots for counseling and kitchen duties
- Resources to maintain and improve the campgrounds and programs making it an attractive place for ones to attend
