MTYC LABOR DAY PICNIC 2021

Monday, September 6th, 2021 – 9:00 AM – Click here for the flyer.

Event Details:

Camp will open at 9:00 on Labor Day Monday for those who want to hike, swim, play and fellowship.

Welcome and Lunch will begin at 11:30. Come and enjoy lunch on us at MTYC.

A historical and present view of MTYC will be shared from 1:00 to 2:00. Come remember “back when” and then experience the “here and now” with us. Walk down “memory lane” and then buckle up as we “leap into the future”!

See the goodness of the Lord being exercised through His people in making MTYC a tool to present the Gospel and to edify and encourage everyone who comes to the mountain.

We hope you will make a special effort to be at camp on Labor Day for this exciting time we’ll share together.

Directions to MTYC

For anyone traveling to camp this summer, we have been made aware that using Apple Maps will not give you the correct route up to camp. Please use Google Maps or Waze apps for the correct directions. Here is our old-fashioned map that may also be helpful. Look for our signs posted at each turn.

MTYC 2021 COVID PROCEDURES

Each camper must fill out the 2021 COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire. You may print and fill out a copy prior to coming to camp or one will be provided on arrival.

2021 Registration opens April 1!

We’re excited to announce that registration will open for our 2021 Summer Camp Season on April 1st!  The 2021 schedule is posted on our website mtyc.org.  We are disappointed that we are not able to offer our spring Homeschool Camps this year but are thankful to be able to plan towards the summer weeks!  We would love to see our homeschoolers attend one of the summer camp weeks if possible this year!

You will be able to access registration through your family accounts on the Parent Dashboard so please take a moment over the next few days to make sure you’re able to log into your account.  This link for ‘returning families’ can also be found on the registration page of our website along with a link for ‘new families’ for any friends who may not have registered with us in the past.

We are not 100% sure of what new policies & procedures we will have to follow this camp season but, for starters, we are reducing our capacity limits until further state restrictions & guidelines are lifted.  We will work from ‘wait lists’ as we are able to increase capacity so please place your child on the wait list if the camp week is full.  There will be no money collected from you until we have a spot available for your camper.

Check-in procedures on Sundays will also look a little different than in the past.  In order to help facilitate those changes, all camper fees (including snack account money) will be collected before camp begins.  Our registration software doesn’t allow for variable amounts to be offered through drop down boxes so I’ve added 3 ‘average amounts’ as snack options to the registration form ($20, $25, & $30).

The Lord has been so very faithful to abundantly bless His work at MTYC and we count it a privilege to serve you and your family there!  Looking forward to seeing you all back on the mountain this summer!
